Nov. 1, 2005 Dear Colleagues and Friends: My name is Zhongcong Xie, an Anesthesiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts. During my recent trip to China, I was asked by Dr. Li, Dixin, a very senior Anesthesiologist in China and a legend of Chinese Anesthesiology Society, to collect 100 to 150 Chinese American Anesthesiologists for his to be published book of Chinese Anesthesiology History. Dr. Li feels that the Chinese Anesthesiologists in the US should be an important part in the book. Suggested by Dr. Chang-zheng Wang, the Assistant Secretary of CASA, I am going to make this announcement in the website of CASA. I am also going to post my own submitted description for your reference. Please write a description for yourself in Chinese and e-mail it to me at: zxie@hms.harvard.edu, with the subject: Chinese American Anesthesiologist.
