กก Dear CASA members and friends:
The ASA Annual meeting in Chicago is
over, but it feels like happened yesterday. I had a great
time. I would like to share it with you. CASA held a very
successful meeting with the Chinese Society of
Anesthesiologists (CSA) on the 95th floor of John
Hancock in Chicago. More than hundreds of colleagues attended
the meeting from Mainland, Hong Kong and USA.
Dr. Ge Li hosted the meeting. Dr. Yanfu
Shao, Chair of international exchange committee of CASA,
presented the work we did in CSA annual meeting. In the past
two years, CASA has successfully sent delegations to attend
the Annual Meeting of CSA in Guangzhou and Zhengzhou. The well
organized teamwork has greatly improved communications and
exchanges between the two societies.
The former president of CSA, Dr. Shuren
Li, talked about the current status of anesthesia in China.
Dr. Lingqun Hu introduced recent CASA activities. Dr.
Zhanggang Xue, on behalf of Dr. Xinmin Wu, president of CSA,
gave a talk about future anesthesia in China. With our joint
efforts, the future of anesthesia in China is looking great.
We truly believe it.
I would like to take this opportunity to
thank the Abbott laboratories for their financial support and
also thanks to Drs. Lingqun Hu and Ge Li for their hard work
and timeless effort to organize the meeting. Due to the
circumstances of overwhelming responses and limited seats,
some CASA members were unable to join the meeting. I, as the
president, apologize to anyone who did not get a seat this
time. In the future, we should do our best to organize
meetings so everyone can attend. If you have any ideas or
suggestions, please let us know.
Please introduce CASA to your friends and
colleagues so they could join our organization. Let us work
together to strengthen and expand our society. We are going to
organize another delegation to the Annual Meeting of CSA in
Changsha, Human, 2007. If you and your friends want to join
the event , please let us know ASAP.
