Annual Meeting at Pocono |

กก Dear member,
On February 25th, 2006, the CASA successfully held the
2006 Annual Meeting at the Great Wolf Lodge Resort in PA.
On behalf of the CASA, I thank each one of you for your
support and participation in this event. Our members came
from NY, NJ, PA, CT and OH. I'd like to especially thank
Dr.Yanfu Shao and Dr. Yun Xia from Ohio for their special
report about the CASA delegation to the 2005 Annual Meeting
of the Chinese Society of Anesthesiology (CSA) in Guangzhou.
Its success will encourage our members to attend the CSA
2006 Annual Meeting in Zhengzhou, Henan.
Dr. Hamming Wang, the first president of CASA, made a
presentation about the Malpractice and Litigation of
Anesthesia Practice. The immediate past president, Haifeng
Zhou, gave a report on the CASA activities in 2005. Our new
President, Guogang Chen, talked about the CASA's future
plan.
During the meeting, most members and their families stayed
at the wonderful resort, the biggest in-door water park in
the northeast region. Everybody enjoyed playing in the water
and skiing in the nearby area. The magic show kept the
children entertained.

members:
President - Guogang Chen, MD; President-Elect - Naixi Li, MD,
PhD and Changzheng Wang, MD; Secretary - Vincent Xie, MD;
Treasurer - Rouxu Yu, MD, PhD; Assistant Secretary - Tina
Leung, MD; Assistant Treasurer - Xiaoli He, MD.
